Brilliant Idea. I wonder what these smell like when they get wet? Hopefully not like the factories I pass on the highway.
Very Interesting. Thanks compete.
What’s considered to be one of the smaller contenders of javascript frameworks just got a nice shot in the arm.
Great photo, although eerie of Kansas City Chemical Plant that exploded on Feb 7, 2007 of this year.
I went to install Aptana Studio 1.0 and I forgot how much of a mystery the install of every single app is on linux. The average user is not going to know or want to know how to drop to a terminal window and run sudo! I know linux community will say “we don’t want those type of users”, but yeah you do. If you want mass adoption, you need mass usability.
Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon is now installed on my old reliable Dell B130. My friend Joe [ the admin geek ] was able to make it work with my new Sierra 595U USB EvDo modem. It’s an amazing experience. I know it’ s not Leopard, but I’m holding out for the ultra-slim-micro rumored apple laptop. OS X still has some catching up to do effects wise as well. Yeap, I said it.
So I’m connected to the internet using EvDo USB modem through Sprint currently using XP[Until I can get Ubuntu fully working on it]. My friend is connected to my wireless router. There is not a single LAN cable attached to the router. I’m providing internet through “Internet connection sharing” in windows, out my wireless card attached to said wifi router. He’s getting his dhcp from the router and dns through my machine. He’s on Ubuntu, has full internet access, and running a windows mirc client through wine. Yes, we are geeks and this is how we’re spending Friday night.
So, I haven’t really been into the whole “blog” thing lately. I had a 1000+ post blog on typepad I canceled. The minimalist style of tumblr is what drew me in. Thanks to ByteEngine for the introduction.
